Dhara Rojas, visual artist

"In this experience I learned about

the importance of sound for life,

and in the artistic field it helped me to

expand my consciousness to new

meanings and ways of expressing

sounds and the feelings that these

they generate me graphically

Sozapato, illustrator

"Voces del Bosque has been one of the experiences  most memorable and magical I've ever had.

This residence is not only about the encounter with nature  or the way in which art can "portray" it,  its importance lies in the link you manage to build  with her through sound and silence; have the palpable certainty that everything and everyone is closely connected .”

Cristian Villavicencio, Professor at the U. Artes del Ecuador

"From various exercises of listening and becoming aware of the sound space in the residence, I have been able to shape and propose a series of works that think of sound as a technology/technique. ”
